All was dark and dreary in the world of greekdom, and on the campus of Shaw Universty,the students were weary and afraid of the fate that was destined to befall them.

Then came hope. For in this land of darkness, there came a great beacon of light. This beacon of light was the Light of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. Suddenly,without haste, the Theta Men were on the scene. They began to rewrite and change the views of the community and the greek world. For finally, the saviors were here, and life is destined to thrive and prosper.

DURING THE YEAR OF 1998, TWO MEN EMBARKED ON THEIR JOURNEY TO BECOME BROTHERS OF IOTA PHI THETA FRATERNITY INC. THE ROAD WAS LONG AND TREACHEROUS, BUT THE TWO MEN CONTINUED TO PRESS TOWARD THE MARK OF THE IOTA PRIZE.

FINALLY, THE TWO MEN; NOW STRONGER, HEALTHIER, AND MORE ENLIGHTENED, CONQUERED THE BURING SANDS AND ARE NOW PROUDLY CALLED THE “FOUNDING LINE OF SHAW UNIVERSITY COLONY OF IOTA PHI THETA FRATERNITY INC.”.
